How to use, purify, and recharge chrysocolla stones
Chrysocolla is associated with the throat and heart chakras. It facilitates communication, listening, and accentuates positive attitudes. You can wear the stone as a pendant or necklace so that it acts directly on the throat chakra.
It can also be used in the form of a rolled or raw stone, to place it on the sacred chakra and the solar plexus chakra.
Placed in the entrance for example, it will eliminate negative energies to bring peace, understanding and tolerance.
Purifications of chrysocolla are rarely necessary. However, it is advisable to purify them before placing them in your home or working with this stone. To do this, place your stone in distilled, unsalted water, because it is a soft stone (hardness between 2 and 4 on the Mohs scale). Then wipe it with a soft cloth.
As it is a soft stone, you can also purify your stone by fumigation preferably, by burning a bundle of white sage, incense or a stick of Palo Santo, or even with the sound technique by placing the stone in a singing bowl.
Then recharge your stone by exposing it to the sun for a few hours, or by placing it on a quartz cluster or on an amethyst druse for at least 24 hours.
