The crown chakra, or Sahasrara, is the center of consciousness, and the connection to the spiritual world and the energies of the cosmos.
It is located at the top of the skull.
When out of balance it causes lack of focus, purpose, harmony and joy, irresponsibility, development of ego and materialism as well as detachment from spirituality.
A balanced crown chakra allows one to raise one's consciousness and a good relationship with the divine, to enjoy the present moment, and brings calm and fulfillment.
