The benefits of carnelian in lithotherapy

Although it is an energizing stone, carnelian, by acting on the solar plexus, also has calming effects on angry and emotional people.
Unlike other red stones that amplify energy, carnelian has the ability to absorb and regulate it.  

It is therefore useful for concentration. It helps to absorb scattered thoughts, and people who tend to be distracted by bringing them back to the present moment.  

Carnelian is a stone known to bring joy of life.
It gives enthusiasm while regulating excess energy instead of increasing it. Its beautiful orange-red color diffuses a well-being that allows you to manage complicated situations and states of sadness.
Carnelian encourages one to enjoy every moment and calms negative emotions such as anger, jealousy, and resentment.

With its invigorating action, it restores tone and vitality. However, it is not recommended for people with high blood pressure.  

This stone also acts on the purification of bodily fluids, by activating the body's defenses at the cellular level.

How to Use, Purify, and Recharge Carnelian Stones

Carnelian allows the sacral and solar plexus chakras to open and balance. 

Wear carnelian stone as jewelry, or hold a raw or rolled stone in your hand to stimulate the body, vitality and creativity.

Placed on the solar plexus chakra, carnelian will act on self-confidence, the joy of living and will give the strength to accomplish projects.  

A protective stone, you can also place a carnelian stone in your home to diffuse its energy.

 

To purify carnelian, place your stone in salted distilled water.
Then rinse the stone and wipe it with a soft cloth.  

You can also purify your stone by fumigation, by burning a bundle of white sage, incense or a stick of Palo Santo, or with the sound technique by placing the stone in a singing bowl.  

Then recharge your stone by exposing it to light with plenty of sunlight for a few hours, or by placing it on a pile of quartz for a day.
