The root chakra, or Muladhara, represents connection and anchoring with Mother Earth.
It is located at the level of the coccyx at the base of the spine.
When it is out of balance, it causes a lack of energy and motivation, fear, lack of confidence or self-centeredness.
A balanced root chakra will bring stability, grounding, strength, combativeness, well-being and energy.
